The Jack Ryan franchise is one that has seen countless movies and television shows, and most people know John Krasinski as the current Jack Ryan. However, there was a time when Alec Baldwin played the character in the 1990 movie, The Hunt for Red October.
Although many people expected him to return for the second and third movies within the franchise, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger, this didn’t happen. He was instead replaced by Harrison Ford. Of course, Harrison was later replaced as the movies and TV shows progressed.
