Griphook, the monstrous goblin of Gringotts Bank was originally played by Austin Powers’ Verne Troyer. Though Troyer was Griphook’s embodiment, the goblin was voiced by Warwick Davis, who later took on the role altogether starting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
This wasn’t Davis’ only role in the Harry Potter series. He also played head of Ravenclaw and Charms master, Professor Filius Flitwick, and even made an appearance as and employee of the Ministry of Magic.
