Interview with the Vampire was a 90s hit for the vampire genre, and a cast consisting of some of Hollywood’s top hunks definitely helped with it. Imagine Brad Pitt, Christian Slater, Antonio Banders and Tom Cruise in one movie? It’s a recipe for a box office smash.
2002’s Queen of the Damned was an adaptation for the third of The Vampire Chronicles books, and the film was not a direct sequel to Interview with the Vampire. In this one, Tom Cruise’s character of Lestat de Lioncourt was played by Stuart Townsend.
