Home Alone and it’s sequel Home Alone: Lost in New York have taken a coveted spot on the list of Christmas movie classics, but the third and fourth installments to the franchise failed to make the same impression.
Although the third installment focussed its plot around a completely different family, the fourth film revisited Kevin McCallister, but this time it was young actor Mike Weinberger who was cast instead of the original child-prodigy Macaulay Culkin.
