Charlie’s Angels was a surprise hit when it was released in 2000, and playing sidekick Bosley was the one and only Bill Murray. Critics went on to praise this portrayal for his comedic buffoon-like performance.
So when the sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle was released three years later in 2003, audiences were surprised to see the role of Bosley now being taken over by Bernie Mac. It was a rather unexpected recast considering the success of Bill Murray’s portrayal, but nonetheless, Bernie made us laugh just as much, if not more!
