In her message to fans, Underwood explained that she doesn’t quite look as she usually does because of the fall. Not only did she suffer a broken wrist when she went down, but she also did damage to her face. The problem was so severe that the singer had to go into surgery where the doctors put in around 40 to 50 stitches. Understandably, this left Underwood distraught, so it’s no surprise she wasn’t feeling like herself after the incident.
