Although we don’t actually see her face during the series, we do hear her voice every now and then… The voice behind the Orville computer is played by none other than Rachael MacFarlane, who just so happens to be Seth MacFarlane’s younger sister.
The ship’s computer is able to express information through both writing and audio, with users able to interact with the computer by simply typing or speaking directly to the program, which is simply called “Computer.”
