Following Halston Sage’s departure from the series in the second season, Jessica Szohr jumps in as her replacement as Lieutenant Talla Keyali, Orville’s newest Chief of Security.
Although she had “big shoes to fill” according to Mercer, she ends up proving herself as a worthy member of the team on her very first day after she cleverly persuades a Janisi crew nearby to help the Orville group after they lose power following a battle with the Krill.
