Kelly Hu started out as a beauty queen, and was crowned Miss Teen USA in 1985 and Miss Hawaii USA in 1993. Soon after, Hu’s acting career began to kick off, starring in a variety of films such as The Scorpion King and X2: X-Men United.
She has also appeared in numerous TV shows like The Vampire Diaries, where she played a character named Pearl Zhu, and Arrow, where she portrayed China White. Her voice-over experience is also quite extensive, having worked on animated shows like Young Justice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
