British actor Mark Jackson has only appeared in a handful of on-screen roles prior to his big break on The Orville. His first credit was in 2000, where he appeared in an episode of a British comedy mini-series called That Peter Kay Thing.
He then had a minor role in medical-drama The Royal Today, and appeared in a couple of short films, The Kissing Booth and Peppermint. Prior to landing his Orville role, Jackson appeared in numerous London theater performances, including the award-winning Noises Off.
