It’s not always easy being the middle sibling, and Kerry Hennessy knew that better than most people. It didn’t help that she had an older sister who was often referred to as “the pretty one,” a title which left the younger sibling feeling inferior. That’s perhaps why she typically viewed things from a negative point of view, regularly making sarcastic comments and being a Debbie Downer.
Of course, she didn’t always behave that way. In fact, when she started dating Bridget’s ex-boyfriend, she even began acting a bit more like her sister. The copycat behavior helped her connect better with the sibling she often fought with. Although Kerry and Bridget loved each other, they regularly fell out over the tiniest things. Thankfully, they always made up and had one another’s backs when it mattered most, especially after they lost their father in the second season.
