8 Simple Rules was most definitely a stepping stone for Daniella Monet. She didn’t appear in many episodes of the show, but it still gave her an opportunity to put her name out there. Not long after the series, she was bagging leading roles on other sitcoms like Listen Up! And Victorious.
She appeared alongside superstar Ariana Grande in the latter, which is perhaps why Monet was featured in the singer’s iconic Thank U, Next video in 2018. Matt Bennett and Elizabeth Gilles from Victorious also featured in the video.
