At the start of the series, Bridget Hennessy was nothing more than the stereotypical ditzy blonde. All she really cared about was looking pretty, being popular, and dating the hottest boys. Although she never lost those interests, Bridget did mature a lot throughout the show.
She displayed moments of emotional strength and intelligence on occasion, such as when she portrayed Anne Frank in the school play. Sadly, most of that growth stemmed from her regret at telling her father she hated him right before he passed away.
