In response to Mike and Matt’s accusations of being pushed into wanting to look like Brad Pitt, the show’s executive producer, Dave Sirulnick, leaped to the defense of his show. Sirulnick pointed out MTV was documenting the twin’s daily lives and it was the brothers who revealed their fascination with the Hollywood actor. Not content with that, the network actually shared an email that Matt sent into the show, detailing that they wanted to be more successful with women, and felt looking like the actor would help them achieve this.
