Some plastic surgeons believe that having these procedures can become addictive for many patients, with initial positive results giving them such a lift in confidence, they want that feeling again and again. Many end up needing more and more to achieve the same confidence boost they got from the first one. Dr. Michael Roizen, the chief wellness officer at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, warns; if patients are already planning for further surgeries straight after recovering from their previous one, then this could be the first sign of the addiction.
