For a great ‘knock knock’ joke, you need to think of words that sound similar to the punchline beginning when you read the word aloud, but looks like a completely different word when it is written down. Take this exchange, for example.
The person set up their punch-line ‘quoting the famous lyrics Chamillionare’s rap song, ‘Rollin’,’ by associating the word ‘Daisy’ with the first words of the lyrics: ‘they see.’ Sounds confusing, but once you get the hang of it you can get creative with the ‘knock knock’ jokes!
