The problem with notices – be they passive-aggressive, active-aggressive, or not even aggressive at all – is that they have an unfortunate tendency to undermine their own message sometimes. For instance, this notice lets people know that they shouldn’t be sticking thumbtacks in the wall – but how is it secured?
With thumbtacks. As such, several employees have responded with a deeply unserious series of sticky notes, each of which is intended to undermine the very message that it espouses. Trolling in its most refined form.
