Penny Hofstadter is the star of The Big Bang Theory. She was introduced in the first season of the show and has been Leonard’s love interest ever since. They dated on and off throughout the seasons but finally in the ninth season of the show they flew to Las Vegas and got married, hence her new last name. She was an aspiring actress that worked in The Cheesecake Factory waiting for her big break but she finally quit that dream and went to work pharmaceutical representative instead.
