Sanjay Kapoor brought major controversy to the square with his love of gambling, women, and anything illegal he could get involved in. Regardless of Sanjay not being able to keep his hands to himself and remain loyal, it was hard for the audience not to fall in love with the character. His biggest storyline was the character’s breakdown during his marriage to wife, Gita, which ended with Sanjay in a somewhat sticky situation: being wrongly accused of murdering his wife.
