Oh, Janine. Love or hate the character, she has been involved in some of the most significant storylines on the show to date. Not only does Janine appear to have more deceased husbands than any other soap opera character, but she has also had a narcotic addiction, been a ‘working lady’, and been charged with a murder she didn’t commit! Every soap needs a villain, and Janine was just that during her time on Albert Square from 1999 to 2014.
