Dog owners are well aware of how annoying this can be. It’s always the same drill: You take your lovable pup out for a walk. You allow them to roam freely, but the second there’s a pole or a tree in the vicinity you soon find yourself in a bit of trouble.
Because as intelligent as they are, they aren’t able to comprehend that once they walk around a pole, they must retrace their steps in order to free up the leash. The result is pretty much always us having to walk around the pole or tree ourselves.
