This kitchen is, unlike most on this list, actually stunning. You can tell it and the connecting living room have been designed with great care and taste. This is in fact a $1 million loft located in San Francisco, so you know no expenses were spared to design it.
But despite the high standard, one detail somewhat ruins an otherwise gorgeous space. A massive support beam cuts through the middle of the kitchen and the middle of the cupboards. It was probably unavoidable, but man that location is unfortunate.
