To help protect Meghan and Kate from the barrage of abuse they’d been receiving online, the Royal Family established a set of social media community guidelines. This made it clear what kind of things were acceptable to post on their channels, and what things were banned.
Anyone who broke the rules and sent spam, abuse, or anything else considered inappropriate would face having their comments deleted and their account blocked. Soon enough, the people in charge of the family’s social media accounts had a lot of work on their hands.
