Nana Visitor took the role of Kira Nerys to a whole new level. She moved up the ranks of the Star Trek Starfleet from a Major to ultimately become a Commander. She was also a Bajoran Liaison Officer on the ship.

Nana Visitor’s career did not end after Star Trek, she went on to star in Dark Angel, Family Guy, Battlestar Galactica and Frasier. She is married with two children and also acts in musicals, namely Chicago.
