Cooking the actual meal when hosting a family event is not the only thing you have to worry about, though. Everyone knows the dessert is the real star of the evening, since it’s also the last thing to eat. People expect you to make the most amazing desserts, preferably something that has some fancy icing on top. If it comes as a cool shape, even better! These expectations intensify further during the holiday season.
So what could a good host do when asked to prepare some seasonally inspired strawberries? Trying to make them look like little snowmen, befitting the snowy season, of course. The result, however, is another story completely. At least they tried.
