The most rewatchable movies of all time

Movies are so much a part of our lives that we don’t even realize how important they are. The best films are the ones that stay with us long after they are over. Films that we will think about and talk about, even when we haven’t watched them in a while. They are the movies we can rewatch time and again, and they still fill us with the same awe, magic, and wonder as they did the first time around.

There are movies that we love to rewatch time and again, like visiting an old friend. They are comforting, enjoyable, and can even help us through tough times. Everyone has that one movie that is their comfort movies, or their “hangover” film. Something you can put on and simply relax and enjoy without having to worry about anything else. These are some of the most rewatchable movies ever.

Die Hard (1988)

Christmas is fast approaching, so what better excuse to watch the greatest Christmas film ever made?! Die Hard might be almost 30 years old, but it really hasn’t aged a day and remains one of the finest action movies ever. Bruce Willis was born to play John McClane, and the late Alan Rickman is wonderful as villainous Hans Gruber. Throw in some great set pieces, a terrific soundtrack, and infinitely quotable lines, and you have the perfect movie. Die Hard is the ideal watch at any time, but especially when “The weather outside is frightful…” See what we did there?!

The most rewatchable movies of all time

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

The movie that made Harrison Ford the intergalactic mega-star he is. Raiders is the first Indiana Jones movie. While it’s not quite as fun as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, it has everything you could want in an action-adventure movie. Great stunts, Aztec jungles, ancient artifacts, and a battle against evil. And, at the heart of it, perhaps the coolest character in movie history. Raiders is a family-friendly movie everyone can enjoy, all year around.

Back to the Future (1985)

Everyone remembers watching this movie as a kid, and imaging we were Marty McFly behind the wheel of the Delorean. Back to the Future is exactly what a perfect kids adventure movie should be, but it also appeals to adults as well. Travel back in time every time you put this ‘80s classic in the DVD player. In fact, while you’re at it, you could do worse than watching the entire trilogy back to back! Great Scott!

The most rewatchable movies of all time

Casablanca (1942)

One of the most beloved and revered movies ever, Casablanca is a masterpiece, and one of the finest stories ever told. Bogart and Bergman are on top form, as always, and this bittersweet love story is perfect viewing all year round. With one of the best screenplays ever, some wonderfully quotable lines, and an uncharacteristically sensitive turn from Bogart, Casablanca is every inch the classic you remember it being.

These are just a few of the movies we would class as the best and most rewatchable ever made. Not all movies can be watched countless times; some are too heavy and have a little bit too much going on. But, these are fun, enjoyable, and engaging movies that are perfectly fitting for any time of the year. We can’t wait to get started!
